What it means.

Many people think they know, and as well think they are a furry, but sometimes that's different from the actual case.

When you are creative in your own way, and have fun doing it.

That is what it means. It does not mean to be able to draw pictures, or try for that matter. It does not mean to wear a fursuit and magically be a fur. It does not mean when you flaunt it at school or work and try to be cool and amaze everyone. It does not mean to write furry pride all over yourself and think you know what it means to be a furry. It does not mean to like animals. It does not mean using the title to be overly-sexual.

Many do not know that. To make matters worse, some people are ashamed of the title 'furry'. This means you, sir, are not a furry if you are ashamed of it.

I believe one key to being a furry is imagination, but another is honesty. I do not think of someone whom I cannot trust anything to and that spread lies are a furry. I have never met a REAL furry I did not like, but wanna-be's are another story.

You do not have to like things another furry likes to be one. It's apart of being a furry. Being unique in your own way, and expressing your creative-thoughts and feelings through that; being a furry.

I do not care what you say or claim, some people will never grasp the true concept of being a furry, which is quite sad.

Some will grow out of being a furry sooner or later, but listen, being a furry takes commitment. You gotta stick with it if you are for real.

Another topic of interest is trolls and haters. Listen, let them be and don't argue. They are most likely people who feel down about themselves who need to have someone to pick on to feel higher, or just for kicks. Leave them alone and they go away.

Perhaps some people in the future or now will read this and think they already knew what it mean't to be a furry, but in all honesty, they may just be trying to be cool or think they are a furry because they like the characters and fursona's.

Also, some people may think all furries are yiffy-freaks or pedos. Listen, furries come in all shapes and sizes, ages and varieties. You are wrong if that is what you think, too wrong my friend.

Furries just know how to have fun and be creative doing it.
